  • Wales Wilderness - Paul Saunders Landscape Photography & Walking in the Wilds of Wales
  • Wild Camp - interesting way of walking and camping
  • Backpacking in UK  - This site is about backpacking mainly in mountainous and remote regions of England and Wales, but also covers a few low-level routes and the odd day walk. The routes are mostly self-designed and some established, and all with wild camping. The Trips&Photos section has all the routes listed by date and area. As well as the popular Lake District and Snowdonia National Parks, we describe routes in seldom trodden wild areas where we have walked for days and seen nobody at all. Most of the trips have downloadable route files for import into Memory Map Navigator, and we are working on the remainder. Almost all are accompanied by an outline map and photos, which we hope will give inspiration to take that first step to wild pitching.
